The Campbell Family Story & Heritage

Mike taught Agricultural Science for 10 years at Lamar CISD in Rosenberg and at Rider High School in Wichita Falls. He also served as Agribusiness Director for KGTM radio and KAUZ television.

Mike and Joe Tom White were heard each morning on AM 1290 from 6-8 a.m. up until 2016. They shared the microphone since 1985.

Mike received his start in technology while working at the Computer Store in Wichita Falls. Five years of OJT allowed him to learn the practical side of technology.

Mike was an "Education Specialist, Net 9" for the Region 9 Education Service Center. He was responsible for connecting over 38 schools to the Internet, maintaining their 2-way interactive video systems, and training educators to integrate technology into the classroom.

 

Mike and Tricia made their home in Henrietta for 27 years, where he served on the Henrietta ISD school board for 21 years and as a Deacon at First Baptist Church, Henrietta.

In July of 2015, they moved back to their home place, where Mike and Tricia now manage the family ranch with the help of their daughter Jana and her family.

 

Mike and Tricia have been married since '74 and are the proud parents of Jana, Crystal, and Justin. Their daughter Jana married Greg Fletcher, and they have 3 children, Elizabeth, Justus, and Jacob. Their daughter, Crystal, married Jason Finch and has added William Michael to the herd, and now Samantha Dawn. Their son Justin is currently working for Oncor.  He and Kendall are the proud parents of Corbi, Copeland, and Capp. 

In 2019, Mike was elected County Judge for Clay County.
